Ik gebruik de Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5 Pro nu bijna een maand.
Dit zijn mijn eerste noise-cancelling oordopjes, dus ik kan ze niet vergelijken met andere noise-cancelling modellen.
Wel heb ik jarenlang de Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic 2 gebruikt, en het verschil tussen deze twee is zeer duidelijk merkbaar.
In de trein bijvoorbeeld wordt omgevingsgeluid aanzienlijk verminderd, wat een veel prettigere luisterervaring geeft.
Wat ik vooral als een grote plus zie, is dat de Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5 Pro verbinding kan maken met twee apparaten tegelijk. Dit maakt het wisselen tussen mijn telefoon en tablet heel soepel.
De app "Xiaomi Earbuds" is overzichtelijk en biedt eenvoudige mogelijkheden om de oordopjes naar wens aan te passen.
Een klein minpuntje is het draagcomfort. In vergelijking met de Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic 2 sluiten deze oordopjes iets minder goed af. Hierdoor lijkt de noise-cancelling af en toe minder effectief te zijn, en ik merk dat ik de buds regelmatig even moet aandrukken.
Al met al ben ik erg tevreden.
