When replacing the filter, it is recommended that you first clean the filter for two minutes under the tap to rinse away any activated carbon that may have come loose during transportation and opening. Then place the filter in the filter slot. Then you place the lid back on the water tank. Finally, hold down the Filter Reset button for 2 seconds and the Pet Fountain is ready to use again!
