The Xiaomi Mi Motion Sensor Night Light detects any movement with a range of 7 meters and a 120° wide reach, at which point the lamp turns on immediately. Thanks to an advanced light sensor and infrared motion detection technology, the lamp turns on automatically during the night, at the lowest brightness mode. The lamp has two brightness options of 0.7 and 3.8 lumens. With the low brightness mode, babies and children are not blinded, but it still provides a fine lighting of the room.

The Xiaomi Mi Motion Sensor Night Light detects any movement even in the night, so it does turn on instantly at the highest brightness. The light will automatically turn off after 15 seconds after the motion has stopped. The Xiaomi Mi Motion Sensor Night Light consumes only 0.25 mW of energy in standby mode. With the included 3x AA batteries, the sensor has a battery life of one year in the lowest mode and about half a year in the highest mode.
